Custran Platform Additions – to enhance user experience and optimize trade operations, Custran has introduced a suite of powerful new features on its platform. Developed directly from valuable customer feedback, these upgrades are designed to maximize data accuracy, boost connectivity with clients, and integrate seamless access to real-time government product data.

To improve client communication, a new “Email” tab is now available across all Irish and UK import, export, transit, and ENS modules. Users can input multiple recipient email addresses (separated by a semicolon and space) during the declaration process. Once the status shifts to “released,” the platform automatically forwards the declaration PDF and clearance slip to the designated contacts, ensuring immediate updates

A newly launched “Tools” tab on the main menu serves as a central hub for compliance and verification. It features integrated UK and EU EORI checkers, directly linked to HMRC and EU databases, allowing users to instantly validate customer numbers. Additionally, the integrated UK Tariff and EU TARIC search tools allow users to enter commodity codes and Countries of Origin (COO) to quickly retrieve necessary C and Y codes, significantly speeding up data entry for DE 2/3.

Addressing the friction of double data entry, Custran now allows users to convert released CDS H1 or H2 data directly into a Safety and Security (S&S) declaration. By clicking the new “GB S&S” button on a released import declaration, a draft is automatically populated on the user’s dashboard, ready for immediate submission.

NCTS P6 is now fully live for both the UK and Ireland. Custran ensures a seamless transition, allowing users to apply existing NCTS P5 subscriptions or declaration credits directly to the P6 module.
