Customs training

Online customs training and a full customs training service

Custran provides the best customs software training online and a full customs training service for all your customs needs.

Why traders now need declarations skills

Brexit has brought significant changes to trading in and out of the UK. Traders who previously never had to create and submit customs declarations are now struggling with making entries and with understanding customs procedures.

This has forced many traders to start employing customs agents, which has led to increased costs and staff work hours dealing with getting information correctly sent to agents and the required paperwork completed. Furthermore, exchanging data over telephones, emails, faxes and so on, and not understanding exactly what is needed, has led to delays at ports due to incorrect or inaccurate declarations. This can result in major disruption to both business and customers.

There is an alternative: bring the making of customs declarations in-house by training your staff on how to effectively complete a customs declaration and how to submit entries correctly. Custran can provide this customs training and can provide the software in which the declarations are made, for both Irish and UK entries.
